The building itself is safe and peolpe who live there are nice.
But:
I lived there for 2 years. The Building is old. Built in the 1960s. You may not recognize how old it's from the outside but the infrastructure is very old. In the first few weeks there was a very bad odor in the main bathroom. I found it was coming from a big whole in the wall in the cabinet under the sink. The whole was full of mold. They first covered it with an old piece of wood that didn't solve the problem. I had to call them to cover it in a more professional way. I started thinking about leaving but finally with my pressure they fixed it.

The kitchens and bathrooms are very old. And I will not be surprised if they are as old as the building ( 50 years).

They take very expinsove rent for the indoor garage compared to other buildings ($65). And it goes with your lease so once you sign for it you can't drop it till the end of the lease. Recently they were doing som maintenance in the garage that prevented us from parking there for about a month and they didn't offer to reimburse the garage rent since we were not able to use it.

Some staff in the office are unfriendly.

It took them very long to return the deposit. And although I returned my apartment in a condition better than when I got it. (Since I like fixing thinjs at home, and I fixed some stuff that was there from before) they returned the check minus $50 with no explanation. I have friend who didn;t get anything back frim the deposit. And it seems that they di everything they can trying to take from your money (the deposit).

In general it's warm enough in the winter. But the Heating system is set for the whole building so in the summer they swich ti air cinditioning and in the winter to heating. And the switch points are very annoying . So they don't switch to heat till it's extremely cold and they don't switch to AC in the summer till you feel you are being cooked!.

The building is very old so you should expect major maintenance wirk every now and then. like foe example they stopped the water about a total of 5 days in the 2 years (one day at a time) and that is obviously annoying since you will spend the whole day with no tap water.

Now I mention some of the negative things.

Still living there was not bad. I think I don't regret it. But by the end of the 2 years, I felt it was really time to move.

Positives are:
- Nice lake view.
- Tenants are nice.
- shopping carts for your groceries.
- very big moving elevator.
- table tennis and foseball,
- spaciuos.

Negatives:
- Heating and AC switch as above.
- old building and old infrastructure.
- poor ventilation in the bathroom (molds) and no fan in the bathroom or the kitchen,
- spacaious but not cheap.
- they will do everything to take your money and your deposit.
