After checking out this website and looking at Mallard Crossing, I will pass. I love to jog and the path around the lake is disgusting! The apartments are certainly not worth the outragous price they are asking! There are lots of nice places in Loveland.
Will check some of them out.

Lived here?

We have had the complete opposite experience living here. First of all, our apartment is great. We live on a bottom floor and never even hear the guy upstairs. We have never seen mold or anything else. The staff is always smiling and friendly. As far as it being over-priced, if you can't afford it don't rent it. And I have no idea where you are getting that it was built on a swamp. That just plain doesn't make sense. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience but I would encourage anyone to come and live here. We absolutely LOVE IT!!!

It can be seen in your writing style that you posted two negative reviews on the same day. And how cowardly to do it anonymously. In any case, I really enjoy living at Mallard Crossing. The staff is excellent, the maintenance staff responds very quickly and is very polite. The grounds are kept extremely clean, and the apartments are some of the highest quality around, especially with all the amenities. I think the only negative thing that could be said about this place is that Fields Ertel Road gets a little too busy during the Christmas rush. That is to be expected when almost every major store is within a 5 mile radius. I would recommend this complex to anyone moving to the Cincinnati/Mason/Loveland area.

Are you even writing about Mallard Crossing? Your review is so completely off that you certainly must be talking about a different place. I rented at Mallard Crossing because I absolutely loved the apartment that I was shown and the people in the office couldn't have been nicer and more professional. You certainly have every right to your own opinion, but I just can't imagine anyone having that experience at this complex.

I would say I like living in Mallard but ofcourse they are a bit expensive. But it is not all roses. The walking trail around the lake is real nasty with geese poop all over, you could definitely hear the people upstairs even when they walk, but other than that the maintenance staff are good. But the management staff are not all great. Some ignore you too.

A swamp? Funny I don't remember this from when I'd lived in the two different apartments I'd rented there! Seems I would have noticed that!!! Wow, maybe I just happened to overlook that or something. And mold you say?? Hmm..funny never came across that either! Jeez, I must have lived at a different community than you did or something. You know, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience and I'm sorry, somewhat, for the sarcasm but COME ON. I worked in the apartment industry for so long and had to deal with people that had such high expectations for their apartments. An apartment is not a HOUSE! You will have some big differences, but for the money you are living in a nice place. If the cost is high then get a house. Buy, rent whatever it takes because if you think this place is bad then you will NEVER be happy in an apartment!

My response to the last comment. First of all check out the history of the land that Mallard is built on, it was a swamp! I have lived in many apartments and I know what I am saying. And for your information, I now live in a very wonderful complex where the management treat you with respect! Not like a crazed dictator who by the way posts all those wonderful reviews of a just so-so overpriced complex. I am glad you are happy, but look out for the manager, you better stay on her good side!
