Management staff is more interested in selling than in maintaining any sort of honesty or integrity. Issues brought to their attention are met with insincere concern. Watch out for sudden changes in your move date - you could be delayed, literally at the last minute, for months due to some "sudden construction issue", or the fact that they simply sign more people than the amount of units they have available.

Maintenance leaves much to be desired. Multiple requests, poor follow up, sometimes entering into apartments without prior notice, not cleaning up after jobs. Very little done (sometimes nothing) in regards to snow & ice clean up making sidewalks and parking areas extremely dangerous.

The buildings themselves have issues as well. While these apartments have a very nice appearance & unique, spacious floorplans, there are some quirks with the construction. Just a few include:
-Poor windows - leaky, drafty, condensation & mold problems
-Noisy water pipes - everyone can hear whenever someone takes a shower or flushes the toilet in the neighboring or above apartments (so much for privacy)
-Stray spatters of paint and globs of caulking on fixtures/cabinets in the bathroom & kitchen (just sloppy craftsmanship)
-Squeaky, creeky wooden stairs - once again, everyone can hear whenever someone comes & leaves
-Not enough outdoor lighting - once it's dark, the building number & address cannot be seen, making it nealry impossible for someone to find the right apartment at night

Bottom line, Nantucket is overpriced for the mediocre level of quality & service. It's very disappointing because this could be a great community with the right kind of management. Hopefully things will change, but I'm not going to wait around hoping for that to happen.
