Eyesore of Mason/Hopes for New Management

Once you live here, you will soon realize that Four Seasons is an eyesore for the City of Mason and Mason PD. You have your garden variety of drug activity, illegal activity and theft. Just check with the Mason PD and ask for police reports on Four Seasons. The only selling point to living here is the price, but you sacrifice safety and well being for affordable living. The drugs and crime are from the tenants that live here and if management would do their job and evict the drug dealers and set up security measures such as Neighborhood Watch programs, then much of the criminal activity from midnight-6am would cease. You cannot expect the owners to provide state of the art security, however, the majority of the tenants would assist management in establishing better security than what is available now- nothing!!!! At this point in time, any tenant who would actively voice an opinion on the crimes and drugs would be retaliated against by the offending tenants and management. You don't live here by choice, but out of necessity. Mason does not offer affordable and safe housing, but just affordable..the rest is not part of the equation. I would agree with the review from the Texan, Scott in maintenance is wonderful, but he can only do so much..for all his efforts and workmanship it must be noted that he is absolutely the best and is one of the few things that are good at Four Seasons! If you like difficult people in management, then Four Seasons is the place...If you like to be treated rudely and unfairly, this is the place! If you like to have unresolved issues..this is the place. Basically, Four Seasons under new and more tenant friendly management, could be a thriving and productive place to live, but the current management, Marilyn Proffitt, is a nightmare in progress and reaks of improper handling of tenants. Recently, Marilyn Proffitt was promoted and a new fella, Joe, is the leasing manager. By all appearances, Joe wants to make changes and improve tenant living. If Joe can accomplish this without interference from Marilyn Proffitt, Four Seasons might be turning a new leaf. It remains to be seen, but our hopes and well wishes are for Joe and his success. So stayed tuned for an update on Joe and possible re-evaluation of a review. Happy Living...

Although this review was written back in 2004, as a staff member of the New Four Seasons Apartments of Mason, I feel I must reply.
The apartments were sold in February 2007 and they have been under new management since that time. There is a completely new staff (with one exception) and a whole new atmosphere at Four Seasons. The new ownership has started multi-million dollar renovations.
Each day when I arrive at work I drive through the community and I never fail to see new improvements, from the new siding, landscaping, windows, to the new playground, there is always something new.
Our maintenance technicians are skilled and eager to work. I have heard many compliments regarding them. One resident even told me that they seem to enjoy working.
So if you haven???t checked out Four Seasons because some of these reviews have kept you away, or if it???s been awhile, stop in a let us show you what we have to offer.
We are dedicated to making Four Seasons a clean, pleasant, safe place that our residents can be glad to call home.
