Apartment itself is nice- that's about it.

I did really like the apartment itself. I thought it was very nice and roomy with plenty of storage space for everything. But once you stepped out of the apartment, it was a totally different story. Parking was horrible. If you got home past about 5 on weekdays, it was almost guaranteed that you're not parking in front of your building. You would have to park in the extra parking that's not really in front of any building (and it's a pretty decent walk too!). The pools look nice, but they are always too cold to swim. Even during this past summer (2006) when it was very, very hot outside. I also did not like the fact that during the short time I lived there (about 1 year), there were 3 different owners, all with new management teams. And they all ran things differently so we were constantly getting new sets of "rules". No consistency at all. They advertise as a "gated community", which is true- in a sense. They do have gates, but they are rarely closed. So there's no point really. The tennis court and volleyball court are a total mess. They have not been taken care of at all. And the worst thing is, I came home to find my door unlocked and open on 3 different occasions. And I know I locked it! But maintenance knew nothing of the ordeal. I found it completely ridiculous. They were unwilling to change locks or anything. And my security system didn't work on the front door...also unwilling to fix that. It should go without saying that is the biggest reason in my decision to move.
