Parking isn't the best

I've lived in the complex for several months now. However, I will likely move at the end of my lease due to the parking situation. I work very odd hours and sometimes very late, It's frustrating to have to (more often than not) park 5 minutes away from my building when I'm paying $1000 for rent. The property does seem to try to keep the grounds neat. However, there has been a slow response to maintenance calls. I'm also noticing that there appears to be more tenants moving in that don't seem to care about maintaining their living environment, by carelessly discarding trash or leaving trash outside of their front door for days at a time. In addition, many of the pet owners aren't picking up their pet waste which is concerning since there are children who play outside.
On the positive side, the apartments have spacious floorplans and appear to be well-made. I plan to move a property where there is convenient parking when my lease is up if there arent' any apartments available with an attached garage.
