I just resigned a year lease so I am going on my 2nd year. I live in the West building and in the past 3 to 4 months they have really improved some things. We had a "Town Hall Meeting" where we were all able to write down things we wanted to be fixed or things we would like to see more of.. They also sent out forms for everyone to fill out after the meeting inviting us to write down some concerns. So I did and about 10 days later I recieved a call from the property manager thanking me for taking the time to fill out the form. We sat and talked about my concerns and I was reasured that my concerns are def important and that they will be addressed.. Sure enough 2 wks later they sent out a letter letting everyone know that they will be upgrading the elevators and power washing the garage. I am 35yrs old and I have lived in several apt complex's and never once have I felt the management or owners care. In this case I renewed my lease for this single reason. I am very happy living at Gates Mills Place the staff is always friendly and a couple of them greet me by name... I was very unhappy at one point because of the slow elevators and dirty garage and some other minor things but I am very happy with the changes that have been made.
