Very nice community, surrounded by condos, secure, gated community. Nice landscaping and environment, nice to walk in, safe, well lit.

Apartments are fairly nice but laid out poorly to optimize living and closet space.

Items such as sink fixtures, towel bars, stove and microwave are older, cheap and need replacing. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is very nice, even though they are stacked units and smaller than normal. You can't really wash a comforter without jamming it in. Insulation is also poor. To keep from freezing in the winter, the heater has to run nearly non-stop. We finally bough some electric heaters to keep from going broke on gas bills.

Parking is a major issue. There are no assigned spaces except for the garage, and a garage space is $60/month. Outdoor parking is limited and people will park anywhere possible, including the street. There are also some reserved, outdoor spaces for the townhouse apartments, even if the appartments are unoccupied, the spaces remain reserved and unused.

Maintenace seems almost non-existant. If there is a problem, you can usually get it fixed promptly, but there is virtually no preventative maintenance. They seem to care more about the external appearance of the buildings and grounds more than the internal living conditions. I don?t know if they?ve ever replaced our furnace filter.

Ever since they began converting the apartments to condos, they seem to do less annd less for the current apartments. The trash chute jams on a regular basis and it usually remains that way for a couple days. Also the heater was not working in our lobby for most of the winter.

Overall it was a fairly nice place to live, but I?d definitely say we liked it much better before actually moving in and living there.
