I moved into Austin Springs in early 2006. There were a few things that needed attention but most everything in my apartment was in good working order and very clean. I have enjoyed most of my neighbors - seen many come and go. A few noise issues or young kids at the pool every now and then but mostly a positive experience. Staff is okay. There have been some changes with management over the last year or so and the young girls at the office don't seem to have a clue. They're nice but complete ding-bats! The older woman that was here seemed to be experienced and much more knowledgeable. She handled the community and herself professionally. The girls in the office now seem to have formed "cliques" with some of the residents and don't stop talking to their friends when they see you come in or walk past. This annoys me. They have also become a bit negligent in keeping the place looking good. I think they lack attention to detail. Maintenance is okay - a little rude and bossy at times but not too bad. All in all an okay place to live. Just don't expect outstanding service from the current maintenance or office staff.

I just came back to this review that I did a few year ago. I noticed the above comment. Classy! Then I went through some of the other comments both positive and negative and noticed that a Mark @ JC Hart responded to postive ratings with a thank you. I also noticed that Anonymous or other user names commented with nasty comments like this one to anything that was remotely negative. Hmmmmm...doesn't take a rocket scientist does it Mark @ JC Hart!?!?! Please note that no place is PERFECT! Also not tht I did say I would recommend...not now buddy!
