I've been at Austin Springs for a little over a month now. While it hasn't been long, I have a good impression of the place so far. The office staff has been helpful in addressing my questions or concerns - both before and after I moved in. In fact, they typically return my calls the same day. One time, when I had a maintenance request, they even called to let me know there would be a delay because one of the maintenance guys was in the hospital. How courteous to acknowledge my request and let me know to expect a delay for a legitimate reason rather than to just leave me hanging! When I moved in the maintenance guy walked me through every tiny detail of my new place and even offered me advice on how to save on my utility bills! The fitness center is great, and the pool is nice. The walking trails are nice too! I babysit a lot and the kids LOVE to walk around and watch the ducks and frogs in the ponds. My apartment was pristine when I moved in, and I have had only a few very minor maintenance issues (light bulbs and such). So far I am very pleased. My apartment has character too! I like to attention to detail. Things like archways, french doors, and 9' ceilings really add a nice touch. It certainly doesn't feel like those cookie-cutter, economy grade apartments I've seen. I definitely would recommend Austin Springs!
