I lived there for 6 years. Everything I have read thus far is true. The management, the cable, telephone, parking wars (NIGHTMARE), noise pollution (Both inside and outside Dwelling...I75 is VERY LOUD), forever ant and spider battles (they will spray apartment, but only when it's on their schedule...so if you have insects you live with them until their scheduled appointment), windows don't close and need to be caulked and sealed with plastic in the winter, worn out apartments and amenities etc. The one thing that put a ring in my bell was when I moved out. I gave verbal and written notification in mid-September and disclosed I'd move out on January 31st. When I attempted to get the staff to do a walk-out check-out with me....each day either they didn't show up or they "forgot" and couldn't make it. I moved out of State so after 3 attempts on my own and numerous others with my folks - it didn't get done. I moved, bought my house in another State and when I went to sell that house, and upgrade, I was told that there was an outstanding account balance and Claim against me back in Ohio from Autumn Woods. When I called their corporate I was informed that they didn't have record of my letter, telephone calls or my verbal agreement. The staff would not verify my previous conversations and such; hence, I was stuck. The corporate office told me that the letter I wrote was worthless to them when I showed them my copy, because I didn't get it "signed-off" by them. Therefore, to close on my next house I had to come up with 12 months rent (my lease was yearly and my new year would had begun January 1st), redec fees (with a lot of BS mark-ups that were untrue) and a ding against my credit and a lawsuit. My attorney advised to just pay it and chalk it up to experience. My experience is this....I'm honest, they're not...my credit score dropped and has caused me havoc each time I try to attain credit I have to re-explain this mess. How unprofessional and shameful they are....be wise, look elsewhere. I sure wish I had.
