I would not want my worst enemy to live here. I hated this apartment. The floorplan was nice and had tons of space, but that's the only good thing I can say. The trash compactor was at one end of the complex (I lived at the other), and it never worked. My friends would come over and ask about the trash heap. When it snowed last year, they took forever to get the streets plowed. There was one nice maintenance worker, and several that seriously creeped me out. Maintenance requests took forever to be completed, or even just for someone to come look at the problem. My oven broke almost right after I moved in, and it took a month to get it fixed. It then broke the next month. They watered the lawns during the summer, even during drought water restrictions, but they forgot to turn the sprinklers off. I'd call when it had been running for three days, and they still wouldn't come turn it off, even though the ground was completely saturated and the sidewalks were soaked. Once, they aimed one of the sprinklers toward our building, and anyone with an open window had their stuff soaked. They lock the back gate at night, which makes me wonder how the fire department would get in if there had been a fire. Children run around noisily at all hours, despite a community curfew. The landscaping looks like crap. I had a giant dead bush in front of my apartment that they refused to remove or replace. Buildings have entire sections of siding missing. There was constantly noise. The dog leash law was never enforced. I routinely saw an unleashed pit bull roaming the neighborhood. A month before I was due to move, I received an eviction notice, saying that I hadn't completed income verification paperwork on time, though I had never been asked to complete it. That took forever to get taken care of. Oh, and right before I moved out, there was a violent carjacking in the complex. A woman was severely injured.
