This is not a joke. I won't gain or lose anything from this. I just want to tell people what this place is. If I knew what I know today about this place, I won't even come near it.
Anyone using the word "bad" to describe this place has probably run out of words. I have only spent a few months here and I regret to ever come here. I moved into one of their 2 bedroom townhouses because I needed a little bit of space. The moment I moved in, I saw a lot of things not in place, ranging from missing screens in all the windows, doors not closing, dead spiders in the tub, heat not working well, bad windows, bad patio door, bad thermostat that kept the heat running non-stop, just name it!
I gave them a long list of the problems. They came and checked the place. At the time I thought they would fix everything. They didn't do anything except install another bad thermostat.
When it was getting colder, I had no option but to keep calling them. They finally came and fixed it after about a month. At least I was happy the thermostat was working.
Now it is winter, the lower level of this house is inhabitable. The cold wind that's coming in from the windows including the patio door will freeze you to death. I went and bought some plastics from the store to seal up the windows. Still, the wind would rip them apart. This is costing me a lot of money. When I opened the vent in the living room to clean it, I couldn't believe my eyes. There vent was filled with water! I gave them a call but nothing was done.
There is no grace period paying your rent. I had thought if the first day of the month was holiday and the office is closed they would give that as a grace period. They will not have pity on you. To them it?s a way of keeping their jobs because they have to work to pay their bills. This is what told me at the office when I tried to find out why they couldn?t give that day as a grace period when I was charged a late fee for not paying my rent on the first of the month, which was a holiday. The following month, I paid with a credit card, which I thought was very convenient. As if I knew what would happen, I got overcharged. Everything is screwed up.
If you think you can put up with all these, you are at the right place. But if not, please don?t say I didn?t warn you. Good luck.
