This is a very nice place to live. I moved here at the end of 2007 and love it. I see some negative comments, but that does not reflect the reality. The staff is extremely nice and efficient. Problems are taken care of immediately. They also respect my privacy and call before entering. I have had a couple of small things needing fixed. My problem was entered in the computer immediately and the problem was fixed within a day. I also enjoy the idea of being able to send email for communication. These people are fast with fixing problems. I am not sure where other people have rented, but these people are attentive and professional. Now I have heard stories of the past, and that is unfortunate, but one should look forward to the future and not live in the past.

I saw they brought up community parties. I have attended a couple of them as well. I do not understand the complaints at all. People do not get out of hand and everyone has a good time. It is about community and having people connect. They are fun and the staff works hard to make them happen. As a note, there is a great clubhouse we can use. There is a nice workout room and a great looking pool. I have not been able to try that out yet, but I will.

They also are working on neighborhood watch with the local police. We have another community meeting coming up this month. This also helps to keep our community more safe. It is about neighbors watching out for each other and reporting when there are problems.

Maybe it is just my building and the one in front of and behind me, but it is quiet here. I work from home and have not had to worry about noise issues at all. That is very nice.

I have lived in several other apartments on and off throughout my life and this place rates high compared to those places. Nice staff, Promotes community through parties, neighborhood watch, and just knowing your name, takes care of problems quickly while respecting privacy...decent prices for rent... are just some of the great things about here.

I have no direct knowledge of the past, but the current situation is this is a great place to live. Of course like with anything in life, you have to get involved to enjoy the benefits... ie attend the neighborhood watch, go to some of the parties, report any problems to the staff.. they will take care of it.

I fully recommend this community as a great place to live.

I am sorry but I do not agree with this review. Let me put it this way, if you are looking to move somewhere with children and call it home, this is not the place. There are nothing but -------- and wanna be gangsters that live here. Yes, you are correct, the previous owners were bad and did not care but I have also spoke with people who are familiar with towne properties and they have said that since they have owned it it has actually gotten worse. I feel like instead of them worrying about all of the things to make the property prettier or to attract people with swimming and tanning that they need to focus that money and concern on the short staffed maintenance, the falling apart buildings, the trash ALL OVER THE PROPERTY, and how you get your maintenance request so fast I don't know but it takes them weeks to answer mine. So now were looking at discrimination. Why is it you and 1 other person wrote a review that they have such speedy responses on maintenance but myself and several othe residents, in whom i've met through their wonderful parties, have agreed with me, maintenance takes forever to respond. This place needs alot of work and i understand they are trying to better it but where it stands now they need to work a little harder. I will make sure to warn any one about this place and to also reccomend calling the miami township police and ask them the statistics on how often they are called to this property.Trust me that says it all staright from the police, not someone who THINKS its and GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!

I USED to live here too and we had to call the police 3 times in 2 months, and they asked us why we chose to live in such a trashy place, since we seemed like normal people.(of course we had no idea when we first moved in) they said they ARE always called out to the property and that it USED to be completely ALL SECTION 8. and now some non-section 8 people live there, but most of them are still section 8 residents, the ones causing the problems & break-ins and disturbances. the police told us to get out if we could!! that it was one of the worst complexes except for the Knolls. Which is also AWFUL.
