When I first went to see these apartments before signing the lease, the management was ery friendly and helpful. When I moved in, it was a different story. The apartment manager was never to be found and there were these bunch of ladies pretending to be the managers, when they were clearly not. I lived in a one bedroom and the carpeting was stained from the previous tenant in the bedroom and the living room. The heater makes very loud noises, so does the shower and toilet. They didn't provide blinds/curtains so I had to buy my own, which was a waste. The walls are very thin, I can always hear my next door neighbor take a shower at 2 am. It gets very cold at nights and early mornings which forces high electricity/gas bills. Whenever it snows, they never bother to remove the snow from the parking lots or the road at all.
The one good thing about the one bed apartments is that they have the common door for the entrance which can only be opened from the inside or with a key, which makes it safe. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and safe, there are way too many animals that live in my apartment building that love to wake everyone up at night.
$499 per month is pretty good I guess for what you get.
