I lived in Madison at Butternut Ridge for 2 years, and I once forgot to pay my rent as I was very sick for one week (1st week of the month). I got an eviction notice (it was not just a notice for a fine & a reminder, I was asked to get out in 48 hrs). I felt very horrible that they treated me like this. A fine would have been okay as it was my fault that I forgot, but to evict me in 48 hrs, that was too much. I did not like the way they treated their customers like this. I decided not renew my lease again.

The apartments are nice otherwise.

I apologize that you feel this way. Unfortunately, we are required to deliver eviciton notices to all residents that are late, regardless of any circumstances. We apologize if you took it personal and we should have given you atleast a courtesy call prior to the eviciton notice. The eviction notices do sound really nasty, and again that is not something that is from us or management, it is a state mandated form. We wish you the best of luck!

That is bull crap! WOW! Who the heck would want to go somewhere that will give you an eviction notice if you are late one time! That place should be burned to the ground! For all the people that are looking for a nice place to go that is worth your money-- go to Evergreen Farms. I currently live here and after reading all these horrible reviews about Butternut, I think I'd rather stay here and have zero problems then move into a hell hole. Was looking at moving over there but no way now. Thanks for the tremendous help on making my decision!!!!!
