I have to say after living here that these are positively the worst apartments ever! The management may sound nice when you are looking at the place and the renovated interiors may appear nice, but don't be deceived, this place is actually a hole. Once you start living there management no longer cares about you and doesn't return phone calls or work with you at all on anything. The apartment building is ancient, as is everything just under the surface. The balconies have chunks missing out of them and you wonder if they are going to fall every second you are out on them. It is impossible to get a good temperature in the apartment no matter what time of year it is with a single window mount A/C unit that barely functions, and very old heaters that go around the edges of the floorboards and are pretty well worthless and hideous to look at. The elevators break every other day. I've gotten stuck in them more times than I can count. You just have to pray every time that the door will eventually open. They also smell terrible everyday, just makes you want to vomit every morning when going to work. Half the washers/dryers are broken and the ones that work steal your money without doing anything. Want peace and quiet' Not going to find it here as there are extremely loud motorcycles going by at all hours of the day and night. If you think closing the cheap windows will stop the noise, think again. The grounds don't feel very safe either as there was a car that had its window smashed in and stuff stolen. The doors to enter the building get cracked so often that I think management has given up on trying to keep replacing them.

Have you never lived in an apartment with elevators? Or never seen a car broken into? My sister got her car broken into THREE times in WAY nicer and MORE EXPENSIVE places than Westbury. Seems like you are a grouch and must hate your life in general. When your lease is up move out and quit complaining. I am sick of hearing people complain when I am at the Westbury. Leave your comment to yourself AND GET A LIFE!!!!!!!! This is so ovverated. I love living here and am sick of losers LIKE YOU complaining. Don't ruin my life with B attitude.
