I lived at Dover Farms for 13 months. The maintenance staff was unresponsive so you would have to put in follow up requests to have them come out and do anything. There were ashes and a half burnt log in the fireplace from the last tennant when I moved in. They also gave me the wrong keys when I moved in. I received two sets, one of which was for another apartment. I lived on the first floor and the windows and doors are so drafty my heating bill was outrageously high and I still wasn't warm inside my apartment. The office staff (for the most part) was unhelpful. My heat did not get shut off after I put in a request with the gas company, so Dover Farms used my heat for a month after I moved out until I received my next monthly notice. I gave them proof that I was not in the apartment at the time the charges occurred, but the staff would take no responsibility and was completely rude and indifferent. After receiving no help from the staff for the situation, I was forced to pay the bill myself for heat they used at my expense! This is not the way a business should be run. I should note that the complex was bought by another company towards the end of my stay, but the new company was no better than the first. I cannot, in good conscience, reccommend this complex to anyone.
