Don't Trust Them

I have lived at Dover Farms for two years now and I can tell you the office staff is horrible. They have attitudes and treat the renters who pay a heafty rent like they are a pain in their ..... ----, ------- and the other manager do not care about anything except their ego's and they certainly don't care about customer relationships. They are focused on selling the new sucker until they are signed and then good luck. The apartment complex charges a slew of fee's for things unforseen prior to rent and then once you move in you are insignificant. I have NEVER come across a group of "sales" managers that have NO customer relation skills. They are rude, mean and down right obnoxious. I have had mold, a air conditioner problem for years, leaks in my ceiling and problems with troubled neighbors. One night a few months ago someone was bleeding and left blood on the door and hallways. If has still not been cleaned and one of the neighbors used a papertowel with a rubberband on the doorknob just to get in and out of the building. This past winter the sidewalks were covered in ice for days on end and trying to get in and out of the apartment was dangerous. However if your rent is late in any way they manage to deliver an eviction notice to your door within a hour. Communication is so weak that I had to leave a message four times before acknowledgement of my new cell phone number as a form of contact. Please don't rent from this complex until the management company actually shows they care about the tenants and care that this is their home. A place they come to for solitude and not for harrassment. Lastly, don't try and wash your clothes in the unit provides equipment. It doesn't work either.

Wow you are really unhappy... Maybe you should look into a thing called home ownership. If you have lived at Dover Farms for 2 years and paid a rent of let's say $900 per month then you have wasted $21,600. If you would have bought a condo you could have had a nice tax deduction as well some equity by now. You would also be the boss when it comes to dealing with property managers, not the victim. Renting is great for certain situations, but if you plan to rent for another 2 years you are just wasting you money no matter where you go. Don't waste your money Buy a home!
