I currently live at shadow creek and im utterly disgusted by how management takes care of the parking lots during the snow. It's rarely plowed and NEVER salted. Today there is seriously 5 feet of snow behind my car. I see 20 people outside shoveling. As a renter that isnt something we should have to do. This parking lot is never plowed or salted and often the most dangerous area on my drive.

Yes, she lives there too, but does she have to drive to work? It's not bothering her if the lot is bad, she walks from one building to the next to her job. As for get a shovel, what's Karl doing that he can't help shovel people out? I'm suprised the cleaning girls aren't doing it, while Karls in his apartment.

I just got done talking with Karen in person. She was stuck in NY this past weekend and couldn't get home herself. She is honestly fed up with the owners who are the problem. They owner only pays the plow people PER PLOW, not for the winter. So they will only come when "they feel like coming". They did not come, so they didn't get paid. Karen is getting a different plow company regardless of what the owners are making her do. Fortunately, we are all doing what we can to help each other out. It sucks and we shouldn't have to do that, but what else can we do? Karl is worthless sometimes and in his defense, you can't expect ONE person to shovel the whole apartment complex?!? And the cleaning girls were outside shoveling! Winter is almost over thankfully. Honestly, it is not Karen's fault - she really is trying her best to help us. SHe is in tears because the owners SUCK and make her do things she doesn't want to do. Yes, she walks one building over, but she cannot leave this complex either if she needs to. There is one gentlemen who is using his own equipment to clean up the parking lot FOR FREE - so if you see him working, THANK HIM!!! I now own a shovel and will help clear my building's walkways when I can, as much as I think someone else should be doing it. The owners are more concerned with getting sued than our safety sometimes, so if you have issues, contact Karen and get their names and write a letter to THEM. If you own a shovel, a little kindness goes far!!

Excellent. I know it isnt Karen at all. I feel sorry for her. She can only do what she is allowed to do.

I lived in Shadow Creek from 2001-2006. Each year we heard the same promises of getting another company next year. There is never a change! Don't get your hopes up that it will be ok to re-sign that lease for 1 more year.
