While this facility has some problems, it is not a terrible place to live. The handy-men could really light a fire under it and we'd be happy, and there are some trashy people that live here, but mostly everyone keeps to themselves. The police do patrol the complex fairly often and are called out every other month or so for an issue for which they have to turn their lights on, but its not the dumps. Yes, we'd like it if the driveway was plowed better in the winter; we'd love it if people weren't into drugs, drinking, and domestic abuse, and respected the other tenants - but people aren't perfect, and its hard for these financially unstable tenants to remain emotionally stable. Many are laid-off or on disability and have a family. The kids roam the driveways on their bikes and playing tag - playing the way kids should play and usually with someone standing by an entrance talking with another parent while watching them.
I've been here a year and I'm pleased with some of the lee-way Diane has given me and my roommates while being here. While getting here is the hardest part [all that damn paperwork] staying is very easy.
