Elayne Apartments

I am currently living in Elayne Apartments and this is my second year here. I cannot wait until March 09 to get out of here. I live on the ground floor and basically keep to myself. I leave at 5:45 in the morning and I return around 3:00. I go to school from 6:00p.m. until 9-930 Monday-Friday, and I work every other weekend! Not even a month after I moved in my upstairs neighbors called the police because I vaccumed at 4 in the afternoon!!! They've called several times and the police come and It's always the same result, they tell me to have a good night and leave. Meanwhile my ------- neighbors STOMP from three in the afternoon up until two or three in the morning. Many times I have been awoken by this HUGE crashing sound, sounded like someone was coming through my ceiling at 4 am, I called the police twice and it was unseccessful so I quit. Yet they call them constantly on me. I went to the front office to complain about these disturbances and they told me the "guy" above me was single and lived alone, yet I hear children up there all day(on my days off). I assumed that the office would have taken some kind of action, they said they would talk to the "gentlemen" and would solve the problem. Well after weeks of never ending STOMPING I stopped by the office AGAIN. Their response to my problem that I move to a different unit. I live alone and have a 67" television, there is NO way I am going to get it out of here to another place, besides if I move I am requesting the apartment above theirs!

I call B.S. I've been here 2 years, and have rarely even seen a police car....And Parma Hts PD takes their job seriously...so I don't believe they'd ignore multiple calls. Alao, the staff will step on a problem immediately and not let it continue...so this review is garbage.

Well, all i know is that is what happened to me. I moved out in march and haven't been happier. :) you have your opinions of the place just as i have mine. I know the parma hts PD pretty well cause of that place, they didn't ignore my calls the guy who lived upstairs wouldn't answer the door. I never said they did ignore them just that the attempt to get it through that guys head was pointless. Not sure what building you lived in but i was in 64 and unless you were at my apartment you cannot say whether they were actually there or not.
