Midtown Towers is the worst place and do NOT move there even if they promise you major discounts because they are liars and nasty.

I totally agree with the previous poster. I lived there for about 5 years in 1 bedroom apt and just moved out in February. This place was bad when it was being run by previous manager Debbie but now it has turned into the worst place since the new manager Linda has come in. The rest of the staff (Pat, Connie, etc) is pretty decent but this new manager (Linda H) is so nasty that she treats tenants like a piece of trash. Forget about any professionalism or decency! They can't be associated with Linda even remotely. Here is what she is:

* She is nasty
* She is mean and rude
* She is unprofessional
* She is insulting
* She is a steamroller who will not give a damn to what tenant says
* Whatever she says is right and whatever tenant says is 100% wrong
* She will not honor anything that her staff promised or what she herself promised and will lie
* You call her office 100 times and she will never return a single call
* She makes changes to lease randomly

If you have any self respect and dignity you will never move to Midtown Towers till this dictatorial person named Linda H is the manager. Its shame on Forest City Management that they hire such incompetent, nasty people to run their properties. When you see nasty people like Linda you will feel that the previous manager Debbie was much much better, atleast she treated people with dignity.

Here are some other problems:

* The rental office will promise you a lot but when you sign the lease they will not keep the promise.
* The property is not well maintained. They will force you to take a day off for any maintenance work since they only work between 8am to 5pm.
* There is no security as such and one does not feel safe. There was a major fire in building 2 few months back. There have also been quite a few break-ins during last year.
* They have rented lots of apartments to people without checking their credits and backgrounds.
* The place is very noisy. The loud music will be playing late at night and no one cares.
* The trash area is always full and trash will be lying everywhere. It stinks badly.
* The fitness center is old, unsafe and not maintained at all.
* The management is simply not trustworthy.

If you want to preserve your dignity don't even think of Midtown Towers till the current manager is managing the property.
