pigs, nasty building, pigs, filth, no consideration

We have lived here at Midtown for 6 years, and in that time we have seen this building go from bad to worse to crap. Tenants who don't put their trash down the chute, just leave it on the floor; staff cuts so there is inadquate house keeping in the halls(only "common areas" seen by the poor rubes who are considering renting here), no screening of tenants; apparently filling empty units is more of a priority than screening for nasty, ignorant jerks who would sooner crap in front of your door than clean; the existance of bedbugs and cockroaches that migrate from aparment to apartment and the denial of staff that these things exist; well the list goes on and on. We rented here because an old friend of mine and her husband moved here after they were first married and these apartments were so nice. Now the staff here could pretty much care less about what goes on here so long as your rent is on time and their paychecks are in their hand. Don't even get me started on the property office...they look at you like deer in the headlights when you complain, and over the phone it's like talking to a brick wall in an insane asylum..pointless (although the brick wall might be more understanding). I think Forest City Management needs to crack down on this property and start realizing that people pay their hard earned money to live in a decent place. I'm not asking for the Ritz, just consideration; oh and security would be nice too. Oh, and don't ask why we're still here if it's that bad...right now it's all we can afford. We have made polite complaints to the property office, and I"d like to think that someday..sometime someone will GET UP OFF OF THEIR BUTT AND TAKE CARE OF SOMETHING!!.
