------ has sent a letter around to the people living at Midtown Towers telling them NOT to write anything thing bad about the staff on here.. What''' Are you serious. Talk about honesty! She is just a liar. I will NOT be told what I can and cannot say.

This apartment complex is awful. I lived here BEFORE ------ was around and I loved it. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up.

I recently spoke to a man who has lived here 15 years! And he said he plans on leaving because no one can stand ------. I asked him where the sweet woman who used to work on the office went. (I believe her name was ---) He said she left because ------ was so mean to her. If your own staff is leaving then there is a problem. I told him I was moving out as soon as my lease was up and he said many of the residents are who have been there longer than the new management.

It is NOT a nice place. I have lived in other apartment buildings and I have NEVER been in one that has smelled so bad. What is that sulfer smell on the first floor''' It's gross.

I have never lived at a place with such a rude staff and so many bug problems.

The management is not nice and helpful. They are rude and they do not care about the residents.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you think the prices are cheap then keep in mind that the apartment complex is cheap. Everything about it. From the "new gym" that is dark and dangerous, to the "new balconys" that look the same. The management is just as cheap as the rent is. I guess Forest City didn't want to pay a lot to get a manager to run this dump. So they found someone who isn't worth much to run it.

Friends of the management can go on here and say whatever they want, but have lived here for 3 years and I KNOW what living here is like.

Don't waste your time coming here. The fact that ------ has to write the residents a letter telling them not to write bad things about here on this site is enough! How low can you get'

There are better places to live where management has some respect and the living is comfortable.

I'm sure "residents" will reply to this who just "love" the place. But as I said, I've lived here for 3 years and I know what it is like to actually live here. And threats won't stop me from telling the truth.

I have been a longtime resident and read most of the postings here. I must say that Midtown Towers was becoming a bad place to love during the previous manager -----'s tenure but the new manager ----- ------- is doing a pretty good job in improving things. My only complaints are: * Why did you increase the rent of long time residents by more than $20? Its just not fair. You give huge discounts to new tenants to attract them and then rip-off long time tenants! The only reason many people came here in the past was low rents but thats not true anymore. Why are you exploiting old tenants? Paying more than $600 for one bedroom and more than $665 for 2-bedroom is a rip-off. You will find many places around there (apts and private) which are much cheaper. * Can you do something to provide ventilation in the hallway? They are hot and smell like trash all the time. How about carving out windows and then putting up exhaust fans or something??

Dear RoyRoy, I am ------ and I would really like the chance to meet you and help you with your concerns please. The newsletter article was by no means a threat, it was my way of reaching out to the Residents at Midtown to let them know that I am available to talk to with any concerns. Midtown Towers has had some issues for quite some time now and I am trying very hard to correct these issues. I can not fix over night something that was broken for quite sometime. I do care very much about the community and all that reside here. As far as --- ----- is concerned, well what you say is not correct and I am sorry that you are upset that she is no longer with Forest City. Things happen that sometimes are beyond our control. I again would like to meet with you so please call me at 216-398-4222 x100 and we can address your concerns. Very Sincerely, ------ ------- :o)

RoyRoy this was great!!!! I can not agree with you more! I haven't had the pleasure or non pleasure of living here as long as you have but I am getting out of here as soon as possible too! I think you were right about ------ writing the newsletter, it was a pretty cheap thing to do. I can't wait to get away from this smelly bug infested trashed up place!!! This place will never be the BEST! have a great day!:o
