It took a long time but the lobby looks beautiful. They did a really good job. I am not sure how long it will stay that way. I hope it continues to look like that, at this point no one can blame it on Midtown if it does not and I have not been a big fan. However, when they have done a good job I have to give them credit. If it gets destroyed it will be because of the residents. So that is one positive thing I can say and they say if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. I am not a staff member or a friend of anyone who works here or owns Midtown Towers. I am simply a resident and have had several problems while living here but this is one thing that they have done that looks really nice,if you have seen it there is no denying it.

Yes. It does look nice. (fyi- as of last week one of the front large windows (by the buzzer area) evidently cracked in a large part. Right now it is fixed with DUCT TAPE! They fixed the window with duct tape instead of replacing it!!! "Very classy" *sarcastic*) But unfortunately that is the ONLY thing nice about it. The bad things BY FAR out weight the goods things. And on the opposite end of the front entrance looking good, the back entrances look HORRIBLE. They aren't even entrances. Just doors into hallways with water-damaged ceiling tiles that crumble and fall on the floor without the janitor cleaning it up for weeks, it smells worse than rotten garbage, someone always has the door propped open which is a security issue, there are always cars with flat tires and expired plates in the first spots, it would be very easy to be abducked, and last winter I was walking down the stairs in the back and slipped and my head was bleeding and I had to go to the ER, even during summer both back entrances are very dangerous. So they don't take care of their grounds during winter with regards to plowing and salting. So yes, the new remodel of the entrance does look nice. But there are a million things to out weigh it that is bad. I would honestly not even pay a hobo off the street to live there.
