My husband and I moved to The Residence at Turnberry to cut down our commute time down. We were looking for a place that felt safe, cozy, and quiet and this is the place! We were surprised how quickly our apartment felt like home. We love our patio, our vaulted ceilings and the ample space. We had some initial maintenance issues, but it was taken care of immediately and they were so friendly about it. We love the grown trees in the neighborhood and how we have privacy here, but we also have the convenience of so many restaurants/stores nearby and we're just minutes from the city. We looked for "home" all over Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, and Pickerington and we definitely think we found the right place!

And what do you think about your outdated kitchen and needless to mention the neglected bathrooms??? The vents that have all been painted over?? You must work extremely close to the complex because that traffic on 256 is outrageous any time of the morning, day, or night!!!

Yes, the kitchen is outdated, but ours is still in good shape and clean. Anything that has needed fixed or replaced, they have done so immediately. Our bathrooms were fine and so were our vents. We knew the kitchen was outdated compared to newer apartments, but compared to others we considered, we felt R@T gave us more square footage and a better layout and location for our money. We knew that we would probably be getting used appliances, cupboards, etc. at any apartment we chose. If we wanted everything to be new, we would have bought or built a house. These things haven't bothered us.

I am glad you enjoy your place but good luck when you decide to move. They will charge you for everything. You will be billed about $100 to professionally clean your apartment no matter if you do it yourself or not. You will also be charged to replace your carpet and any other minor things that they feel like charging you for and if they tell you that you will not be charged for things get it in writing because the staff turnover is horrible and the property manager that is there now will out right lie to your face. I lived there for several years and always heard horror stories about when people tried to move out and I never believed it...that is until I recently moved. I also know others who have moved since I have and are having the same problems. Take my advice and get everything in writing or save up a few thousand dollars for when you move!!

In February this year, I moved from Puerto Rico to Ohio. Originally, I was living at another apartment/community complex in Reynoldsburg, but situations with my teenager daughter make me look for another place. After looking for few weeks and with the help of a realtor, I ended renting at Residence At Turnberry on April 2009. My wife and daughter arrived at the end of May and they loved it. We are paying a little more and we had big maintenance issues at the beggining, but they corrected after I proved them that nothing was done. One of my biggest complaints was on the interior maintenance/cleanliness of the apartment. I guess that they were trusting their employees or contracted personnel and did not inspected the apartments after they were cleaned. The actual Property Manager, Kate, gave me a deal that I could not refuse. When we were doing the inspections, Kate noticed things that I did not notice and I consider myself a very detail oriented person and she add them to the list. Kate, you still owned me something, so I hope that when you get the new budget, you will comply with it. What we like about this community is that is very safe, quiet, green areas are kept in good conditions and when we take a concern to the management, they take it with a high sense of urgency. Personnel are very cooperative, polite and kind. In two ocassions, Kate an her assistant, took care of our cat while we were out for few days (I do not think this is part of their job description. For us, they went the extra mile). This community is also close to major stores, supermarkets and have plenty of nice and good places to go out to eat and have fun. The Pickerington School District is among the best in Ohio. They have high discipline standards, school maintenance are excellents and they are safe. I also liked that the trash is pick-up in front of your apartment. I remembered the day that Kate introduced to me her boss or previous Property Manager, the lady did not stand up to shake my hand, she only said thanks and kept doing her paperwork. Every time that I go to the office to give a complaint, Kate stop doing what she is doing and always has a smile on her face (for me that is very important, it means that she is paying attention to me). Since Kate was assigned as the Property Manager, I have seen a big different in all of them. I highly recommended anyone this community complex. Thanks and good lock in searching for your new apartment.

I am in my second year as a resident, and I am quite happy here. I looked at apartments in Canal Winchester, Reynoldsburg, Hilliard, and Pickerington. I chose Residence at Turnberry because of the floor plan, the park-like setting, and the convenience of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. When my friends visit, they think they've come to a resort! Did I mention the wood-burning fireplace? Love it! Security is a big concern for me, so I have to say that my attached garage (with attic, I might add)is a major plus. I also enjoy having my laundry room off the garage, thereby not squandering my actual living space.
I believe the owners of R@T are replacing outdated appliances. I have a new gas stove and huge refrigerator. I really didn't stress about the appliances when i moved here, however. I was so impressed by the size of the kitchen and its overall charm, that as long as the appliances were aesthetically pleasing, and worked, I could live with them.
Recently I looked at our "guest house," which is a wonderful two-bedroom flat. I don't know of many apartment complexes that offer home away from home for your guests, and at such a ridiculously low price!
I have talked about conveniences, the beautiful atmosphere, and my lovely townhouse. All of these are reason enough to live here, but I would be remiss if I did not praise our wonderful staff. With all of the above-mentioned amenities, I would not have moved here, had it not been for Adrienne, our former manager. She was kind and stayed long past closing time to answer all my questions and comfort me as I shared a few personal reasons as to why I needed to move. Adrienne was always kind and cheerful, at a time when I needed it most.
Kate, our new manager, is kind, extremely bright, and efficient. Each time I've had a problem (and they've all been minor), Kate has reassured me that she would take care of it, and she has. Kate has surrounded herself with a very competent, cheerful, and efficient crew. Scott, who heads our maintenance staff, works tirelessly to make sure that our needs are met and the grounds are nearly immaculate. Erin, Kate's assistant, is friendly, helpful, courteous, and complements Kate's personality. Together, they make a very good team.
