Not an overall bad place. The apartments themselves are well maintained - no problems. Management is a different matter. Lots of turnover in the front end. Paperwork often lost or mis-filed. They do seem to be TRYING to get better though.

Two murders, numerous breakins to both apartments and autos and I've only been here for a year is the main reason I'm leaving. Security is present at night NOW. So you can say management is responsive to the needs of the tenants - I just don't want to die to have something changed.

I wouldn't recommend to a "friend" to live there but to a casual acquaintance I'd suggest they'd give it a look but with a history of the place too.

I lived here during the two murders and had a friend on the police force who I talked to about it. Both were unfortunate situations where a girlfriend did something to make her crazy boyfriend mad and the crazy boyfriend killed the girlfriend. In the 3 years I lived there, I never felt like I was unsafe. In fact the night of the first murder, my friends and i were walking home from the elementary school playground down on Tussing where we were playing basketball.. and we saw all the cops and stuff.. but we were safe the entire time we were there.
