We live in one of the 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhomes. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living area. The full basement is separated into 2 sections: finished and unfinished. It is a beautiful place to live, plenty of parking, nice deck area in the back, and plenty of counter space. A perk for us is the built in wine-rack! The townhouse is in pretty good condition, well-maintained, and does not have that many issues for being somewhere around 15-20 years old (from what the leasing office told us when we first applied here)

The leasing office is very nice and courteous. If we have a maintenance issue (like the half bath sink freezing with the sub-zero weather we've had this year), they are very prompt with getting stuff taken care of. We did have some water get in, but I guess that was only because the sump pump (which was located in the unit next to ours) stopped working. About an hour after we alerted the office, a guy from a carpet cleaning place was knocking at our door, giving us instructions/information about what they were going to do to fix the problem.

There are only a few negative aspects of living in this apartment complex. Make sure you have a snow shovel and/or salt in the wintertime. They DO NOT shovel the walkways. With the ice and snow Columbus had this past week, it has become quite treacherous to navigate! They may plow the road, but they definitely do not salt them. The little concrete area by the mailboxes is also left un-touched, so you really have to watch your step. Another issue that we have is the draft around the front door and front windows. At times, you can feel the wind blow into the house. I am sure that factors into the heating bill! A minor pet peeve of ours is that there is not a separate dining room.

We are only staying here for one year b/c both of us now work on the north end of Columbus and we are sick of the drive time. If our jobs were closer, there is no doubt we would stay another year 'til we are ready to buy a house.
