I have unfortunately been a resident here at the projects of dorchester village apartments and have had nothing but the worst experiences. i have children playing n my door at all times of the night. ADULTS TOO!!! when i arrive home from work everyday, there are children half dressed and making out in the lobby. i have a three year old and i think it's pretty unfair and unreasonable that she should have to see this activity everyday. i called and complained about this and amongst many other things such as dirty diapers on the stairwells, neighbors blasting music and being so noisy that they vibrate the walls in my apartment, i have had to call fify times to get the simplist repairs done. for example, i called friday to make an appointment for maintenance to come and fix my tub which does not drain at all. i was told someone would be out saturday, today is sunday and my tub is still full with water from YESTERDAY!!! i call the emergency maintenance hotline and was told maintenance was on the way. two hours later, no one shows. then i call back and was told tough titty. someone might be out tomorrow depending on if they will get paid to do the job or not. WTF!!! of course they expect the rent to be on time every month though. it was raining in the hallway for three and a half months. i called on the leak every single day for three months and it was just fixed about three days ago. the property is ALWAYS unkept. inside and outside. the leasing agents give incorrect and conflicting information. i'm telling you, save yourself the constant headache and do not rent here. i read the reviews on this same site, prior to my renting here. i called and discussed the reviews with the leasing office and was told none of the information was valid. believe me, all of it is accurate. none of it is just made up.

This person who ever submitted this is obsolutely correct. This place is the projects of Richmond Heights, I personally did a test I left a bag of flower on one of the lights just to see how long it would remain there in a month's time it was removed there may be 3 maintenance men.needless to say for 4 building with over 700 units this place is Dorchester use to be a nice place back in 2002, but when they accepted section 8 and credit approval criteria was so low, every known nuckle-head has slid his or her way in here...plus. there is no security anymore..teenage everywhere causing trouble running up and down the hallways the property manager is as about as helpful as receptionist at the BMV, what else can I say, um laundry room is horrible mold growing on the floor, washers always broke, elevators...smell, it is just poor managment....KARAM needs to clean house and bring this place back up to standards.....I mean when the TV is stolen out of the fitness room, not center but room.......and they have camera's and no one knows anything it makes u wonder just how safe are you here. Bottom-line...you will know if you belong here or not...cause you may fit right on in....with the loud music., wild kids and parents who just dont care, and hoodlums hanging in the hallways at all hours of the night...only good thing is that richmond PD are here;;;often patroling the lot:s
