We have been living in Shaker Regency since June 2008, and so far everything here has been great. We have a one year lease before returning overseas and we're happy living in Shaker Regency. We have had a few minor maintenance problems like a kitchen light burnt out, kitchen and bathroom sink plumbing issues- and every time I phoned maintenance, they promptly sent out someone to help and resolve the issue. We have found the staff at Shaker Regency to be helpful, polite and friendly, and would recommend this place to friends!

You guys are in the distinct minority. Avoid this place at all costs. There are better places around for the same $.

Try getting your deposit back before recomending to friends. I wouldn't recommend to any friend if I valued that friendship. If my friend recommended this place to me - they would either owe me the deposit (that alan is guaranteed to steal 'cause he says he is out of money) or stop being friends.

I CHANGE MY POST- i DO NOT recommend living here anymore!!! we have left shaker regency and had to fight it out with the landlord. we didn't pay our last months rent after hearing so many bad reviews from neighbors.. and we were threatened with legal action for the amount of $3000!!! the landlord claimed there were "damages" to the property- even though there weren't! we took PHOTOS and VIDEOS to prove there were no damages to the property, then told alan we would email them to him as proof we had not damaged the place. the court case was dropped, and we agreed to pay the couple of hundred dollar difference from the initial deposit to the rent remaining. so all in all, it was OK... but definitely a headache you could live without. i no longer recommend living here, unless management changes their ways.
