Alan Pearlman is the ----- himself. If you want a taste of hell then rent at one of his properties: The continental luxury, the Shaker regency, and the Roosevelt and another one in Cleveland Heights. I live at the Continental building. He is rude, not professional, harasses his tenants and will not return your deposit. Dealing with him will make you feel anger feelings that you didn t know that they even existed. Do not be fooled by the hard wood floor. The building is smelly, the carpets are so dirty and needs emergent replacement. The neighbors are nice (most of them) and they all hate Alan. Talk to them before you rent. If you are harassed by another tenant, Alan Pearlman cares less. If you need the gas meter room open for the gas company good luck with that. As he is the owner and manager he is never on site but lives in his place in Solon. There is no office and no people to talk to if you need something done. He will make you pay to fix your air conditioner or will not fix it for you. I saw him once yelling and screaming at a lady on the first floor. He also was very inappropriate with another tenant on the third floor who was being harassed by another tenant kid, stealing her laundry from the washer and making threats notes to her.
