I usually don t write reviews for anything but I feel compelled to do this one to hopefully save you an extremely unpleasant experience. The landlord who is also the owner (Alan G. Pearlman) is a filthy human being, a psychopath and an antisocial individual. The little man harasses anyone on his property regardless of age, race or status.
Dealing with him takes you to a completely different level of interaction (even that you may wonder sometime if this is a joke or what'!). You can simply scroll down the review page and you can get an idea of what I am talking about.
You can see that he, not only will refuse to fix something that he should, he will actually make you pay for it! He will have the next of kin of a deceased person (who does not live on the property) pay her rent through the end of the lease even though she lived on his property for more than 15 years, etc He will actively and intentionally refuse to render his landlord duties (won t answer emergency calls, etc ) to ensure that your rent experience is unmatched to any you have probably ever had. Don t even try to ask for your security deposit, it won t happen just forget it.
The apartment I rented was overpriced. The building is dirty and smelly. Don t be fooled by the hardwood floor and updated kitchen, the joy will vanish the moment you sign your lease. The parking constantly leaks and the rust damages your car. To top it all, you won t feel safe.
I have rented at 8 different places over the years, this one by far stands out as being the worst.

Totally agree, my apartment was very nice, big, hardwood floors but since Alan Peralman, also owner took over the management, forgt it. true about parking lot and rusty leaking that damaged BOTH of our cars, will not help with anything, did not take our call re leaking bathtub faucet only until the neighbor from downstairs started to have leaking in hi/her ceiling, and he wanted us to pay for the rotten drywall!!!. The laundry area is totally dirty, you have to carry ur wipes and wipe everytime U do ur laundry. We liked the apartment but the building was too old and not well kept that is not worth it. Ah, the elevator NEVER works, so when U do your shopping U have to carry your bags all the way up. AA and GH
