I will start off by saying that my review is based on MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE living at the Continental. The building is well-kept and does not smell, and the carpets are clean and kept vacuumed (at least on my floor anyway). The grounds are landscaped well and are well-maintained (i.e., grass cutting, flowers planted, trees trimmed). There is an outdoor deck above the garage furnished with tables, chaise lounges and gas grills for use by the tenants. The laundry areas (at least the one that I use) are always clean, though I do wish there were more machines available in each area. The parking garage provides ample parking, though it DOES leak and I have gotten rust on my car several times which has not easily come off. This is really my only "complaint" here. As for maintenance, any time that I have needed anything done, I have e-mailed Alan Pearlman (the owner) and it has been done right away, almost always within a day. And I have never been charged for maintenance; I don't know where that's coming from (see previous reviews). Rob and Sheila (the maintenance staff) have always been courteous and helpful to me. I am not around much so I never see Alan, but when I have called or e-mailed him he has always been responsive and courteous to me. I had one major repair in my unit that needed to be done and Alan always kept me updated on the status of what was going on until the project was completed, and it was completed in a good manner, not slip-shod. The building itself is very quiet and I rarely hear any noise; when I do, it's generally someone's dog barking (pets are permitted here). Alan has clearly stated in written communications to tenants that loud noise, raucous parties, etc., will not be tolerated.

I am sorry to read the bad and sometimes ugly reviews here. Again, I am only relating my own personal experience here and don't know what other tenants' situations may have been, but I wanted to put my own positive experience out there to say that living at the Continental Luxury Apartments is NOT the nightmare that some would have you believe.

Dear Brother, it seems that your experience is a very special one! Apparently, your friend Alan has not showed that same respect to all his tenants, at all different properties he owns (as you can clearly see). Well, enjoy your blessing because it's a rare occurrence.
