Thieves & Robbers

Please don't EVER rent off of Goldberg.

The only thing they want is your money.

Very very poor snow removal-I felt like I was in a snow maze and couldn't see around the poorly placed snow drifts and my car skated its way across many paved ice rinks.

Surcharges for things that should be free-like accidentally locking yourself out of the building.

Locks that didn't lock-my "secure" garage door was unlocked at all times because the lock was broken.

Appliances that didn't work-my oven wouldn't light for the entire year and the dishwasher lightly "rinsed" the dishes.

Very thin walls & floors-I heard every "session" that my next door neigbor had as well as the downstairs neighbor who contstantly yelled at the daughter, slammed every door imaginable at every hour of the day, and then apparently didn't have anything better to do but wait for the monthly check to come in the mail and complain about all of the neighbors.

As well, everything was dry and dusty, especially in the winter.

I had to keep humidifiers running 24/7.

I would dust one day and the next everything would be covered again.

I also had a house guest for a couple days and that person had to be taken to the local hospital because of an allergic reaction to all of the dust!! To top all of this off, the ice got caked on the roof and started to leak into my apartment at night.

The leaking was so bad that it filled a large bowl and a large trash can.

I called maintenance and was told that it didn't look too bad & someone would be out to fix it.

No one ever came.

Whoever lived there before had animals and on humid days, you could smell the urine!! I moved out after completing my obligation and did not get 1 red cent back.

As a metter of fact, they are now trying to get me for a full months rent a month & a half after I moved out!!

Beside all of that, the neighborhood is getting worse and worse.

This is just within the complex because Solon in itself is a wonderful and clean place to live.

It got to a point where I had even seen several drug deals go happen.

I am really not a complaining sort of person because I know that nothing in this life is perfect.

But this place is well past beyond going to the dogs.
