I have lived at Blossom Village for 11months now. In that 11 months there have been many frequent issues. The first thing to go wrong was our shower water pressure was not working right. There was pressure in the sinks and on the bathtub faucet but no pressure through the shower head. Maintainance has "fixed" that problem 4 times already and it's still not 100%. The next big issues was that there was water pouring through our bathroom ceiling above the tub. That was "fixed" twice. What it turned out to be was there was a hole in the apartment about us so whenever they showered water went through the floor into our ceiling. The third big issues is that there is a huge hole at the rear entrance of our apartment and the door is "left open for maintainance" In that time 1 apartment door has been vandalized and my apartment has been attempted to be broken into. Thanks goodness someone was home! The fourth big issue is the noise factor. Despite what they said about having a layer of cement in the walls and ceilings/floors I can still hear the baby crying next door and the people playing their music above and below me along with the heavy footsteps of what seems to be elephants living above me. Office staff is friendly and pretends to be helpful but things take too long to be accomplished and there are many lies. Also, many other little issues like parking, pool and passes, locks, etc but these are the big 3. But rent is decent for a 2bdrm in this area and you get what you pay for!

I live in the apartments too, and have been having some major problems with them and a leaking air conditioner which soaked the carpet and the wall. We notified them 2 weeks ago about it and have been without an air conditioner again for those 2 weeks. They haven't come to take care of the problem, but with your problem of the water coming from somebody else's shower you should definitely call the health department. I want to call and say that they haven't even come to look at the carpet or to see if there is mold growing around it since it is so hot in there now with no air movement. The health department phone number for Akron is 330-375-2366. Please call.
