Worst idea EVER From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I cannot BEGIN to warm anyone thinking of living here loud enough DO NOT RENT FROM THESE RUDE, HORRENDOUS, UNCARING PEOPLE!!!! My latest example - we came "home" from vacation to find our bathroom hall and some of our bedroom flooded. I could not get anyone to answer the "emergency" maintenance line for 18 hours! When I did finally get someone, they argued with me about having to tear all of the old (old old) carpet out of the back part of our apartment. We had to rent a wet/dry vac, stay in a hotel for two nights (because the apt. was inhabitable) and replace over $100 worth of personal items. The carpet company that replaced the old never finished the job, and to this date has not been back since. The apt. below us still reeks b/c the water in our unit leaked through and they haven't bothered to try to clean it at all. There is no sympathy or help from anyone in their company and as I stated above, this is not our first experience. I have had to send certified letters to the company to get a light replaced on the outside of the building - for months, I (5'3" woman) was walking into the parking lot when it was pitch black because they wouldnt come fix it. I have had to get numerous tenants kicked out because they were violating the lease (like threating me verbally and playing loud music, smoking weed etc) and that took forever. I have never in my LIFE been treated with such disrespect as I have here. It is a living nightmare and every day I pray that we will find something else so we can split. Save yourself the headaches! DON'T RENT FROM ANY OF NIEDERST MANAGEMENT PROPERTIES!!! THEY ARE SLUMLORDS AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS AT ALL!
