We were so excited to move into Heron Springs. We did our research, all the word-of-mouth was great. We gave a deposit for an apt on the first floor (Sawgrass). Then they LIED to us and gave apartment to someone else. They don't care about people. So unproffesional! After looking at over 15 different apts. in this area, this was the one. So a week before we were SUPPOSED to move in I called them (because they'll NEVER call you), to see how our app was coming. Dave said it was approved (then WHY didn'tyou call), and that we were all set to move into 2714. That'sgreat...EXCEPT that was NOT the unit I put my money down for. Similar...but NOT the one. I asked why we are not getting the one WE PUT MONEY DOWN ON' He said (LIED OUT OF HIS TEETH), that the manger would not rent it because it smelled like smoke really bad. FUNNY...i spent over an hour touring the apt. it smelled fine to me. I was so freaking mad...I hung up the phone and drove up there...come to find out...someone was mobing in to MY PLACE that very moment. Nice yong couple...I stopped and talked with them for a second. They were shocked, and said that HS had put them off for months. This must have been HS effort to make them happy. I calle dthe manager the next day...she had NO CLUE...what was going on. HELLO, aren't you the manager' Basically she LIED also, and blamed evrything on Dave. Some manager. She offered to take $60 off our ent each month. I told her to "take a HIIKE". I moved into Hampton Knoll that day. They are Awesome, from the very first meeting to move in date. Just love them! Hampton ROCKS...Heron SUCKS! good luck in your apt search...hope this was helpful!
