Heron Springs Apartments

Lived in Heron Springs for a year after I finished college. LOVED Helen in the front office but I don't think she's there anymore. Anyways, they won't give my roomate and I our security deposit back! They said they mailed our deposit to us at the Heron Springs address. Now why in God's name would they have mailed it to our address at Heron Springs when we had moved out'!'! My old roomie and I have been calling Heron Springs for WELL OVER a year and no one will return our calls. (We were great residents, we were both teachers in the area and it was convenient for us to love at Heron Springs.) The few times we did talk to someone they all said the same thing, "oh the check's in the mail call back in a week if you don't get it." Well, it's been close to two years. The apartments are the nicest in the area, but I've noticed some other really nice affordable places to live, I'd check there before dealing with the disorganizational staff at Heron Springs.

Just a thought, but ask them to confirm that check has been cashed. If not, demand they put a stop payment on the check and reissue to your current address. If the check was made out to you, it should not have been deposited/cashed by anyone but you. Try going directly to the property management company if you don't see action at the leasing office level. Most important thing is to deal with the same person on a constant basis until resolved.
