Since I mistakenly said I would be charged $375 for a reinstatement fee (just plain mistake but it was over $300) I am revising this due to an email my brother got from management saying her lawyers the owners are going to sue me if i have anything false on here - hence the edit.

I have never in my life dealt with such cold-hearted people. They will fine you for anything they can. Kids no matter what age - cannot be outside by themselves or with another teenager - the Parent/Renter has to be outside with them. God forbid you have rough times in your life, my husband lost his job and 10 DAYS LATE on the rent - EVICTION!!!!!! And if you don't have it in 3days from then - they tack on over $300 reinstatement fee!! Their in-house plowers blocked the walkways to the driveways and we had to climb over 2 - 3ft mounds of snow to get to our car and when I fell she only said well since you didnt call OH WELL!! basically - not - are you ok? tough luck! I can't wait to move out and get away from this management. Maint. is fine, he was a nice guy but din't take initiative to do anything unless asked. For example - he saw the blocked walkways but chose to do nothing. I would not live here for free.

That's pretty funny....I have 3 children and was interested in their 3 bedroom....Thanks for the information...now I'm not so sure I want to live there... I also have friends from church that were interested in moving into Huntington Hills. Once I told them about the snow piled up....they are now looking into the apartment complex right down 91 towards Graham Road.

Management is NOT correct in their response.... It NOT plowed or cleared during the day. If it snows all weekend long, then the plowers come in the evening on Sundays (2 days too late), and during the week its not clear till the afternoon. They must get a cheaper rate clearing snow after residents have been inconvenienced....but that does tend to be the trend, CHEAP. All other places do snow removal in the morning before it becomes an issue to people. And this reviewer is correct on maitenance- takes no initiative unless asked and even then its done halfway, i've been here not even a few months and figured that out right away. This place is luxury if you consider luxury outdated, cheap and crap!

I originally posted the comment and have since talked to maintainence. There is a priorty list for him to do his work and as much as you may think having every tennant call for snow removal or any problems would be rediculous they actually want you to do just that. They would rather have 140 phone calls than assuming just because there is 2-3 ft of snow it will be taken care of- just by seeing 2-3 feet of snow on the ground they are not going to KNOW there could be problems unless we call - ALL OF US. I was wrong in assuming that just because he saw and it wasn't cleared that he chose not to do that. This person told me that he did let management know there were problem areas but they were short handed and it is up to the management to prioritize the work he does. He did clear our sidewalks directly infront of our units daily and I thank him for that. He has to do what he is told by mananagement and it is not his fault. He thinks I focus too much on safety issues but I think that is important to make that TOP priority. He is over worked that is for sure but again - its the management he has to deal with. I am not frustrated about money issues anymore...thank goodness so that is not why I posted this. I would want to know these things as well. If stress keeps a manager from being professional and caring then maybe they need assistance too. Too bad others have to suffer from it.

I remember when I lived there we had snow that sat on the sidewalk for over a week even when we complained. Finally it turned to ice and I fell twice in the parking lot. Only then when I called and told them if they didn't clean it up I was going to seek action did they hire people to come and use sidewalk edgers to pick through the ice. It took them until dark that night to get it cleared. You would think that it would have been cheaper and easier to get it cleaned up correctly the first time around than leaving it sit in risk of a lawsuit. A year before I left I resorted to cleaning up the sidewalk around my building myself, yes myself to ensure I would not get hurt again. I feel for the older individuals in that community and that is why I would clear around my whole building. It is a shame that the management doesn't have the compassion for their residents that the residents have for eachother. Time to check what is in your heart and not in your pocket. We all have someone to answer to in the end.

The owners should know exactly what the manager is doing. Are they aware of every penny that is charged to the tenant. I don't think they are. They should check into this, seriously. BIG PROBLEM WITH THE MANAGER.........

This just shows that the people who complain on this site only share only one side of the story, the one that shows them as perfect tenants which from what I can tell is suspect. You don' have to adjust a truthful statement, so by editing your review it tells me you were in the wrong. They are smart to have attorney's demand false things be removed. I believe no one will listen to these poorly educated Hillbillies, it is obvious the community is better off without them. If the manager posts any comments the Hillbillies attack. The Manager is better off not saying anything, the smart educated future renters can see for themselves what a beautiful Community Huntington Hills is, dispite a few bad eggs. This is my home and I won't allow anyone to run down the best place I have ever lived. Keep posting how stupid you look.

I'm a smart, educated, current resident and I still say the manager is out of line. Second of all, I would hardly call a "typo" false, negative information...One number out of 500 words is hardly writing false negative information about the proprty and management. Grow up to whoever wrote the response on 4/8.

If this is the best place youve ever lived then maybe youre the hillbilly
