I'm not quite sure what unit the one reviewer lives in thats fully upgraded with black titanium appliances and nice cabinets....I can tell you that my cabinets are the cheap looking ones from several decades ago and my appliances all have the original stickers from when they were put in in like the early 80's. None of it is updated or energy efficient. My dishwasher is so old and rusted and nasty because its never been taken care of between tenants. It seems to be the general opinion of managers and the maintenance man that if something works (even barely works) then it requires no attention. I mean why waste extra time on something barely functional, they are collecting rent without investing any of it in the property or tenants- The maitenance guy really only maintains minimum standards of doing anything and would rather spend more time explaining that something worked fine years ago and why it can't possibly be broken then getting off his butt and doing something useful to fix it because its obviously not fine now.
There comes a time when fixing, refixing, fixing again is just not cost effective (such as a dishwasher thats 50 years old, just replace it already and stop being so cheap). I am not a happy camper if I am paying the same rent as someone who has newer, functioning appliances cause I can tell you that my unit and lots of others do NOT resemble that at all. I've lived in older apartment complexes where the management managed to put decent, newer, energy efficient appliances in it for the comfort and convenience of tenants....and I paid less rent rent as well- smarter investment if you ask me.
As far as the grounds are concerned I saw complaints with snow removal and such, its the same thing as above, management and maitenance do very little to go above the bare minimum for anything. They want to make all kinds of excuses why its not their fault or their problem, when in fact they are the only property managers in charge of how things go so if they can't be blamed for it then who can' They run the property as if its Section 8 as opposed to their claims of "living luxury". This is not high end at all, and they are fooling themselves and everyone else if they think that it is. I think once the maitenance man finally moves on or retires there will be a big difference in the QUALITY of work and craftsmenship.
I haven't had any issues with being yelled at for my kids, but I would imagine by what other reviewers wrote its on the horizon for me and my kids this summer.
I guess my basic thoughts are, if you have a standard of living thats above section 8 housing, don't move here. And they don't even bother getting people to clean units when people move in which was confirmed by my neighbor. The "once over" done by prior tenants is all you get...I've never heard of such a thing. Even places that don't claim the "high" standards that HH does get people to come in and disinfect...Buyer beware of this property, the manager and the maitenance, you are treated as a number or a dollar sign and that is it.

I think someone needs a life! I lived here for a long time and seen the changes at lease from the outside. It seems this person has a dispute for not paying rent or following rules. GOD BLESS YOU.

If management is really "looking for room for improvement" then why is she discrediting all reviews and responses. If you want to know what you can improve on then read carefully and take some notes. Don't just argue back and then blame people for not giving you feedback, thats not professional and is probably why you attract delinquint tenants.

I think it Stainless steel you Hillbilly. Whin, Whin, Whin the old grass is greener on the other side of the fence. You moved in with the appliances you have. And if you lived somewhere else that had eveything you wanted, they why did you move? Oh probably because you run your mouth, puking lies and if I was the manager I wouldn't pay attention to any of these reviews or responses because they are very sad lonley people.

As a potential future renter, I am turned off by the dispute between renters and management. I'm no longer considering this place for fear of being caught in the "drama." It appears to me that management needs to focus more on running their business instead of trying to refute reviews. In my opinion, this whole argument seems immature.
