Don't expect a hot shower and please consider another apartment community!!!

I have lived her for 1 year and I am not renewing my lease. I would like to preface this by saying that I am a grad student and my expectations for apartments are extremely low. All I look for is a relatively safe place where I can enjoy functioning appliances and hot water. I wish that I would have read the reviews on here before coming last summer. What everyone says about the hot water is true. Trust me, you will not have hot water, especially in January when you need it the most. About a month ago, they turned off the water for two days and informed us that they were updating the system. I expected that after this, all of the problems would go away. Now it is May and I still have not had a satisfying hot shower.
I was prompted to write this review due to the fact that the management cashed a rent check of mine dated for June 1 on May 28. Also, when I came to give them my official notice of vacating the premises, one man rudely said to me: Didn't you already do this' Excuse me for being efficient!!!
The cars in the parking lot also see a lot of damage. Someone backed into my boyfriend's car and dented it and chipped the paint. My sister, who also lives with me, came to her car one morning only to find that the car next to hers had been broken into and the stereo system had been stolen.
I am extremely unsatisfied with my experience here and I am writing this to help someone out in the future. This place is definitely not worth it!! Oh yeah and they just raised rent!!!
Keep looking, you won't regret it!!!
