The lake side property is lovely, and the apartments are relatively spacious and pleasant.
As with many things, the problems seem to stem from the human element.
The staff is less than helpful, tending toward infuriating.
It would be a fantastic place to live if the renters felt that the money they paid each month allowed for some degree of aid, with regards to maintenance or other areas.
Unfortunately, this isn't the case.
Residents of this complex often feel at odds with the staff and management, and there have been informal petitions, as well as a couple official complaints lodged against them (See the Better Business Bureau of Akron website for details).
The complex is lovely, but as a resident one feels painfully alone and unrepresented by the staff.

Right on about the staff! They are the worst ever. I am sure if you came back to visit you would discover the grounds are disgusting but not as disgusting as the staff and management.
