Lots of space for the money

I moved in about five months ago as an alternative to living in Kent. You get more square footage for your money, the neighbors are nice and quiet, and the apartments are not beat up like student housing would be.
The apartments are large and well laid out. I paid an extra $10 a month for the vaulted ceilings (3rd floor), and it's worth every penny; the place feels much more spacious. My carpet is a little old, but it's not very bad shape.
The area is very safe and quiet; there are a good mix of "grownups" and more mature college students. I feel completely safe leaving my car unlocked as I make multiple trips loading/unloading things.
The management is there even during evenings and on weekends, making it very convenient for people who work. They're very professional and courteous.
The only complaints I have is that some of the contractors they use for landscaping/ maintenance aren't very responsive. There are two wasps' nests outside my balcony, which I reported to the management. The landscaper came out, looked at them (I was watching) and then drove away; he never did anything!
Also, the dumpsters are constantly overflowing because residents throw away broken furnature and other large items. However, it's nice to have on-site recycling.
