If there is a complaint the management will go out of their way to avoid the problem. If something breaks you have to tell the maintenance men not the management or it will not get fixed. If you have problems with your neighbors you have to call the police the management will not resolve or even attempt to talk it out. You can hear running water from the people beside and below you along with any other noise they might make. The lights in the builing occasionally work at night. There is never any parking. The residents here have gotten very creative on making their own parking spots, mostly on the grass or in the road. Most of us have recieved tickets and/or warnings because we had nowhere to park when we came home. One of my neighbors got towed after parking in a spot for less than an hour. If there is a health code voilation you need to take pictures and keep record. Portage pointe will not take care of it unless you stay on them. Like calling all day during business hours and telling maintenance. The pool is nothing special and you are only allowed to have the residents and 2 guests even if you have 2 guests that are infants and the third is their mother. That's a no. Make sure you read and reread the lease and hold them to it. If they break the lease document it. They raise rent after the first year. There is no limit to how high they can raise it unless you bring in an attorney. Overall I recommend chosing another complex. I am!
