I find it hard to believe that four people on the same day wrote wonderful reviews. Wondering if the Office staff are posting these''!!! Hardly anyone posts here and then all of a sudden 4 great reviews.

You want the truth... yes the apartments are nice and affordable, however.....

Myesuite internet is horrible. I get disconnected 5 or six times a day. A few times a week I have to spend an hour or so trying to reconnect.

It isn't just slow...for example, it took me 25 minutes to email a 1.5 mb email. come on now.

Oh, I so agree with you that Myesuite internet is horrible. That is why they are getting Time Warner right? I can hardly speak for other posters but I am certainly not office staff. I was turned on to the site by a junk e-mail of all things and it actually peaked my curiosity, was shocked to see so much undeserving negativism about Shadylake, so I figured I would post. I'll give you that, the net totally sucks but hopefully that will change soon. That is certainly no reason to score them poorly on everything else. It sounds to me like you have some sort of chip on your shoulder.

When searching for the truth about Shady Lakes, you need not search any further than the Complex Manager. The office staff is great with regards to the leasing agents. The real problem is the Manager, Claudine Gillette! This is a very disgruntled, heartless human being. Not to mention "guilt-ridden," discriminative, and just downright mean. She is also probably the biggest liar I've ever met in my life! She makes promises that mean nothing, Takes credit for things that she had absolutely nothing to do with,...Attempts to play interesting little mind games on the residents of Shady Lakes, And in the long run,...always wins! (* so to say)...There's no other person with a bigger chip on her shoulder than Claudine Gillette. She takes her cues from upper management with very little regard for the residents or from what we've heard, the employees as well. One of the maintenance staff told me once that they make a whopping $6.00 an hour!!! These guys are moving 20 tons of snow in the winter with shovels,..??,..Hauling huge appliances on plywood boards with wheels on em,..up and down flight after flight of stairs,...we've seen em. These guys should be making 30 bucks an hour for this kind of work. The owners of Millennium Management have this cute little saying,....I think it goes,..."Millennium Management, Raising Property Standards~!" Well,...I believe from what I've seen that they killed the last maintenance man who worked here. Literally worked him to death. *(and yes,..he passed away for real!)....The real motto should read,..." Millennium Management , Raising property standards,...one beat to death employee at a time." It's insane! The current consensus is this,...Millennium managements drive is to create a nice community at first,...but when the going gets too expensive,..IE: building maintenance, grounds, internet etc,...They'll sell out like they do with all their older properties. Then you find yourself living in a SLUM! They're currently doing away with as much "dead-weight" as possible! Need something fixed???,..>Guess what,...See ya a week from next year! It won't get done anytime soon! They just fired one of the hardest working couples my wife and I ever met, without reason!! Now we're down to one 70 yr old man and his 400lb girlfriend for a maintenance staff. Nice people, but very (unfit) for this job! The man does all the work while his girl sits in the golf cart yakking on her cell phone 8 hours a day. We've never seen her lift a finger yet ! Anyways,..If you're planning to move to a slum,....Shady Lakes is for you ! It'll probably be sold inside of the next 3 years or so if my guess is correct. The people that run this place are inhuman! (not from this planet!) Cruel, heartless, no conscience, or souls to speak of. You want to move to Shady Lake you say ?,......Enjoy the nightmare! You can chalk it up later as one of your most "unfavorite mistakes!"
