Does anyone else find it odd that once a honest down to Earth review of this place comes up (usually negative), that a sparkling 5 star review pops up' Maybe if the staff took more time worrying about the parking, noise & speeding throughout the complex insted of cruising the net adding obvious bull*&^t reviews this place COULD be a 5 star complex. First & formost people BLOW through here like they are at the Indy 500. I have been close to being hit on several occasions by people speeding & ignoring the stop signs. I guess they figure that stop signs don't count in an apartment but I can assure you that when the 1st person DOES get hit that it will be because of excessive speed & ignoring posted signs. Maybe the waccky waving inflatable tube man up front can help since the staff certainly won't. Parking, honestly it is a joke. There are no assigned spots and there are residents in the back buildings (by the new ones) that take full advantage and then some by parking 6 vehicles in resident spots. During the winter parking is like Thunderdome, get home as fast as you can or you'll likely be walking quite a distance across the ice pond that the lot becomes. And don't even be misled that they keep the sidewalks clean because in the Winter the snow was knee high last year (good luck if you have a dog). All in all, I would say think twice and don't be deceived by the ignorant staff.

I do agree that some people do speed through the streets, but that seems like you should be upset with your fellow residents, not the apartment community. If you owned a home and people were speeding down the street, would you expect your realtor to fix it, or would you call the police? Or better yet, if you rented a private home, would you call your landlord an tell him people were speeding on your street??????????????????

At the very least I would think posting 10 mph signs around might start getting the message out.

What I had meant to put was that I had suggested they put on speed bumps like nay other places do to discourage this. Plus by the time the cops show up it ends up being a he said she said situation. This complex could simply let people know that there are others watching out for reckless drivers & if found to be actual live-in residents, they could be evicted. I don't believe that they will however seeing as how complaining to them about anyting (noise, parking etc) seems to fall on deaf ears at times. If you see people doing it, take down the type of vehicle & note which bldg they pull into & let them know. Maybe something will get done but I wouldn't hold my breath.
