Shady Lake is an OK place for the area; however, they do not have many amentities for the amount of rent they charge. It really isn't family friendly. Nowhere for Children to play and I certainly wouldn't let them play in the parking lot since people fly through here. We will most likely be moving somewhere else because for the same price you can get much more.

Most of the neighbors are very nice, but some just don't care how loud they are. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors. The rental price is sort of high and parking can be a pain sometimes. Other than that, they are ok.

Wow! You say it is ok but..... I live at Shady Lake with my 6 year old and 8 year old daughters. I have no problem finding some place for my kids to play other then the parking lot. Also if your neighbors are loud call the office and they will take care of the problem.

Strange, I don't see a playground. There is an old Tennis Court. It really isn't a kid friendly complex though. There are others in the area that have comparable rent and have playgrounds, etc. I'm not saying its horrible, just think there are better places for kids. And for the price, you would think there would be more amentities (pool, workout area, etc.)I'm not knocking Shady Lake, I just think for the rent cost, they should offer more.
