I moved into Talmadge Oaks while attending KSU. I was first in a two bedroom with a friend which was planty of space for the both of us plus having friends over. We never had any problems, and if anything came up maintenance always responded in a 24-48 hr window. Once I graduated and got a job I decided to stay at Talmadge Oaks because of the great atmosphere, but I moved down the hall to a one bedroom. It is a very spacious one bedroom with plenty of closet space as well.
The free gas heat is a very nice thing to have the way utlity prices are right now. Also I have really enjoyed the individual air conditioning because it allows me to turn it on at night when I am home. My electric bill has never been outrageous either.
There are other great ammenities including a club house where the staff host parties throughout the year where neighbors can hangout and get to know each other. There are also tennis courts and a pool.
My time at Talmadge Oaks has been very enjoyable and I would recommend living here. Freindly staff, great maintenance and housekeeping, and a beautifully laid out property make this a great place to call home.
