my fiance and i first moved here starting december of 07, our 1st apartment was in good shape except for the patio. they never cleaned up the previous renters mess out there including the beer cans & other misc items. now when we did a walk through someone lived in the above apartment, i asked how the insulation was & the moron leasing person said excellent. well it was so excellent that that weekend we could her the idiot on the 3rd floor playing his drums & party... & we were on the 1st floor! few months after both the 2nd and 3rd floor tenants move out & we think were going to have peace and quiet. then we noticed what seemed to be small leak spots on the ceiling of the bathroom & bedroom closet. apparently it was a large leak that dry rotted the drywall of the bathroom & walk in closet of the bedroom. we made several phone calls & mult. trips to the office to get them to clean up & fix the leak. after 4 weeks despite the health hazard they havent done jack crap about it, we attempted to clean the mold up with bleach, which had got to the carpet in the closet & the wall as well. after cleaning the mold up the apartment still smelled horrible & caused me to get sick. another week & a half went by we finally contacted the property manager... come to find out there was no work order for our apartment. finally they came to fix the leak, but did not replace the molded drywall or carpet. or any of our clothes that had to be thrown out. we then demanded to move into another apartment which they gave us.
first day they we get to our new apartment on the 3rd floor, the air didnt work, had extremely low hot water pressure, carpet tore up in certain areas, bathroom cabinet looked like it wasnt completed. we called the office right away... they said they would get on it asap (hahaha ya right). a week later accompined with mult. phone calls & trips to the office again going to the property manager, our water heater & air was replaced that day. as the months go by, our "new" plumbing in the kitchen fell apart causing a water leak that my fiance fixed until someone could come fix it.
as months go by we still have small problems here and there, its the same routine with the oh so wonderful office staff. the only way anything will get done is if you go to the property manager directly.
now as for the outside parking & other misc stuff... my fiance had to dig his car out of the parking lot at noon when plow trucks had plowed other lots & didnt even touch ours. he even called the emergency line on that one. our lot wasnt touched until a day later. then when we had our horrible windstorm this past summer & shingles from our roof flew off & scratched and dented my brand new truck. but what was convenient was that it was our roof & 2 other roofs. i spoke to the property manager & she said they wernt liable, but the funny thing was that the shingles were dry rotted. she said she would get back to me about there insurance. hmmmm ya she never did. then this past winter of ice & snow, they made a faint attempt to keep the parking lots & sidewalks clean. well 2 weeks with no snow or ice falling. our sidewalks were a joke. i fell on ice on the sidewalk, hobbled up 3 flights of stairs to my fiance, showed him my knee where i fell. he went down to the office where the leasing manager was extremely rude to him & he asked her to have them to put salt down & she said "ummm i dont think there going to do that". ya real professional. now i would be willing to bet that there are mult drug dealers living here cause i can observe cars coming & going all hours of the night and day. my fiance is in law enforcement he knows what to look for. but the last time i checked we had to pass a felony back round check to live here. hmmmm ya i guess with there cutbacks they quit doing that.
make a long novel short, this place is a dump, health hazard, and joke. they have section 8 housing that looks like a hilton hotel compared to here. i wouldnt even live here again if i was desperate.
